Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women offered a Thanksgiving Mass to celebrate the closing of the year commemorating the Bi-Centennial Birth Anniversary of the Foundress of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation, Venerable Mother Mary Veronica of the Passion. The Eucharistic Celebration was on Monday, the 9th of October 2023, at 10.30 a.m., in the College Auditorium, Sylvia A.C. Block.

Father Marlon Rodrigues O.C.D celebrated the mass. Secretary-General and Bursar-General of the Apostolic Carmel Society, Sr. Aradhana A.C. and Sr. Pavitha A.C., graced the occasion with their presence.

The mass began with a procession of lamps as the choir led the faithful in singing the entrance hymn. The students holding twenty lit lamps entered with the priest. Each lamp symbolised a decade of the 200 years of the birth of Mother Veronica and the legacy she left behind as an Apostle of Education.
