One day field Trip was organised to Goa Konkani Akademy and Krishnadas
Shama State Central Library, Panjim-Goa by the Department of Konkani for
TYBA Konkani Honours and General students on 5th April 2022. Eleven students accompanied by Ms. Pooja Sangodker went on this trip. Students got an opportunity to interact with folk researcher Dr. Jayanti Nayak in a programme ‘Students Meet the Author’ who gave a glimpse into the Konkani folkdance Fugdi. She explained the various socio-cultural, historical aspects of Fugdi songs. Students got to see the latest books published in Konkani at Goa Konkani Akademy library.
During the visit to Krishnadas Shama State Central Library students developed an understanding about the operations and services provided by the Library. They visited different sections of the Library and interacted with the librarian.
