The Carmel Ex-Students Association organised its annual singing competition on 13 th February 2021. The competition was held in three categories Hindi, Konkani and English.
The judges for the competition were Mr. Kunal D’Costa, musician, singer-song writer, and music educator for nine international schools across Mumbai and Pune. Our ex-students, Ms. Daniella Fernandes, lead vocalist of the band Archies and winner of the all Goa Portuguese singing competition –Vem Cantar three times in a row and Ms. Chriselda Rodrigues, singer-song writer, YouTuber and best solo singer of the Kala Academy Tiatr Competition, were judges for the event .
The event saw an enthusiastic participation from the students. A total of 21 students made it to the finale of Voice of Carmel. The event was streamed live on the Carmel Instagram page and YouTube. Winners in the different categories are as follows:
