The Students Council of Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women, Nuvem, organised a women’s day programme. The programme had 2 competitions which were SAREE DRAPING and HEALTHY FOOD FOR HEALTHY LIVING. Both were being held in different locations around the college campus.
For Saree Draping there were 29 participants and for Healthy Food for Healthy Living there were 18 participants. Each competition had their respected venues. Saree Draping took place in the IQAC room and Healthy Food for Healthy Living took place in the administrative block. The judges for saree draping were Dr. Madhavi Naik, Mrs. Sneha Naik and for healthy food for healthy living were Dr. Rovina Fernandes, Ms. Nezlyn Cressida D’Souza.
The winners for saree draping were:
1st Place :Geeta Angadi (FY BSc)
2nd Place: Savita Irgar (SYBCOM)
The winners for healthy food for healthy living were:
1st Place: Nicole Fernandes (SYBA)
2nd place: Jeslia Pereira (TY Bsc)
