Women’s Cell

The Management of our college believes that the empowerment of women is possible through the fostering of the values of sisterhood, self-love and self-respect. Since its inception, the Women’s’ Cell has strived to support this vision. Students are enrolled on a yearly basis and are guided by the Women’s’ Cell Secretary and the faculty-in-charge to take up the responsibilities of the cell for the academic year.

A number of activities are organised by the Women’s’ Cell every year, in order to encourage students to showcase their entrepreneurial skills and talent. Besides, the Women’s’ Cell organises various programmes such as Market Day, Financial Literacy, Beach Run, Quiz etc. Events like these are also coordinated with various agencies such as the University Grants Commission, National Commission for Women, JCI etc. In order to commemorate International Women’s Day on 8th March, a cultural extravaganza and other activities are organised by the cell.
