Talk on Financial Literacy by RBI on 17th of February 2023
Reserve Bank of India, Goa branch as a part of their financial literacy week conducted a session on various functions of RBI on 17th February 2023.Third year B.Com students and three commerce faculty attended the session. Prafulla Thakur and Nimish Raje both assistant managers from RBI discussed about currency notes and coins and how to identify fake currency notes. They also created awareness about how to go about with the grievances which they face during their banking services from other banks. It was an interactive session with the students and various questions relating to career opportunities in banking were discussed. The merits of serving in the banking sector was highlighted. There were sixty-eight students who attended the session along with the commerce faculty.
