Ms. Pushpa Iyengar, senior journalist, spoke on the topic, ‘The Journey of a Journalist: Sharing of Experiences and Career Prospects,’ at Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women, Nuvem, Goa on 30 August 2018. Ms. Iyengar went down memory lane and shared vivid vignettes of her work – much to the delight of her rapt audience. A lively question and answer session followed where print, virtual and social media, and fake news were discussed. Ms. Iyengar was introduced by Ms. Roxana Singh, Head of the Department of English. Pearl proposed the vote of thanks.
