The Department of Konkani organized an educational field trip for students of Second Year who have opted for MIL Konkani on 3rd February 2023. Around 20 students were accompanied by faculty Ms.Queenie Viegas & Ms.Cialini Fernandes to view the tiatr “Mhaka Ghoddlam Tem”, written and directed by Mr.Salvador Mascarenhas(Sally). From the beginning to the end, the script was very lively, inspiring and thought provoking. It was an eye opener for today’s youth who blindly fall in love and then get betrayed. The tiatr also had kants, duo’s, trios giving out various messages to different age groups. There were sideshows in between which kept the audience entertained throughout. Our ex-student Semica Mascarenhas was also seen in a comedy role, which amazed everyone.
After the Tiatr ended the students met the cast and also our ex student, Semica Mascarenhas. Mr.Menino Fernandes, President of Tiatr Academy of Goa also spoke to the students and promised to conduct a workshop soon for our college students.
