The Principal of Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Nuvem, Dr. Sr. Maria Lizanne A.C. was visited by two Professors of the HAS University of Applied Sciences, The Netherlands, on 3rd November 2022. This meeting was organised in the Principal’s cabin and mediated by Ms. Nezlyn D’Souza, Course Coordinator of the Postgraduate Department of Food Technology.

Academy visited the college campus with the intention of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the PG Department of Food Technology. The institute focuses on agriculture, food and the living environment. The Professors discussed the possibility of organising a student exchange program and a digital education project wherein students from HAS university pair with a student from the Food technology program and work on a relevant topic such as the processing of cashew apples and jackfruit.
The principal provided various suggestions for the two programs and recommended further dialogue between both parties.
