St. Xavier’s College Mapusa, organized a one day state level intercollegiate event titled ‘CHEMSCOPE 2023’ on the 28th of March 2023. A total of 10 students from the second year B.Sc. participated in the event. The students were trained and guided by Dr. Daniel Coutinho and Ms. Tanisha Costa.
Ms. Diya Shirodkar won the first place for the reel making competition’ Feel it Reel it’. Ms. Evangeline Tulsimani participated in the stand-up comedy competition ‘Chem-Comedy’ and bagged the second place. Ms. Swati participated in bottle painting competition ‘Show your Art’ and won the second place.
Ms. Elaine Araujo and Ms. Minoshka Diniz participated in poster presentation ‘Chem Visuals’. Their poster was on the topic Nanoscience. Ms. Shahinoor Jiwani participated in the oral presentation ‘Tik-Talk’. She presented on the topic Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Delivery.
Ms. Minaz and Ms. BiBi were part of the team that participated in treasure hunt ‘Hunt it to Win it’. Ms. Sneha Harijan and Ms. Shaili Padwalkar participated in the quiz competition ‘MindSpark. The entire team also participated in the chemistry dance competition ‘Dancing Feet’.
The team won the Runner-up trophy for the event.
