A short term certificate course of 30 hours in Tally Prime Pro with GST was held from 23rd January 2023 to 13th of February 2023 from 2 pm to 4 pm in the E-Commerce Lab. It was conducted by the Department of Commerce and Skill Development Centre in Collaboration with Comtech Computer Academy. The resource Person for the course was Mr.William Vaz, the proprietor of Comtech Computer Academy.
The syllabus covered for the course was installation of Tally Software, Introduction and History of Tally, Tally start up screen, creating a company in Tally ,altering, deleting, configuration, Groups and ledgers in Tally, Inventory Basics, Accounting vouchers Entry, Inventory Vouchers Entry, Test skills, Modes of vouchers entry, Display and reporting, GST, Advance Accounting, Short cut Keys in Tally and Accounting using actual billing.
21 students from the Commerce Department benefitted from this course. The course was started to make the students industry ready as soon as they pass their graduation degree.
