As a part of the Out Reach Project , the Department of History, Carmel College in collaboration with the Palolem United Trust, organized a beach – cleaning drive on the Palolem beach, Canacona on 28th September 2019. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Simon Rebello, the President of the Palolem United Trust appreciated the efforts made by the students of the College. He lauded the students for coming from far and helping them in cleaning the beach. The students whole heartedly collected as many as ten bags of waste from the beach. A total number of 19 students participated in this drive. It was a great success. Mr. Agnelo Dias Assist. Prof proposed the Vote of Thanks on behalf of the Department of History, Carmel College for giving an opportunity to help the people of Canacona and for providing snacks and lunch to the students.
