DAZZLE DE CARMEL – Talent Day

The Student Council, Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women, Nuvem-Goa organized DAZZLE DE CARMEL(Talent Day 2021), an event full of activities and excitement for the students. The event consisted of online and offline competitions which were held on 18th December 2021 and 21st December 2021 respectively.

 

The online competitions included 1. Mandala Art and 2. Creative Planter. Whereas, the offline competitions included 1. Dress to Impress (Dramatization), 2. Virtuoso (Musical Instruments), 3. Whittle It Fresh (Fruit Carving), 4. Nail Art, 5. Mehndi Design, 6. Face Painting, 7. Tangled (Hairstyling) and 8. Shutterbug (Photography). Dress to Impress (Dramatization) and Virtuoso (Musical Instruments) were conducted onstage in the college auditorium at 12:00pm, whereas the other offline competitions were conducted in different locations around the college campus at 10:00am. Each competition, online and offline had a set of rules and regulations which was followed by everyparticipating student.The participating students registeredfor the event via a Google Form.On the whole169 students participated in the event.

 

ForDAZZLE DE CARMEL (Talent Day 2021), each online and offline competition had a separate judging criterion and were judged by different faculty members.

 

The winners for DAZZLE DE CARMEL (Talent Day 2021)were:

Online competitions:

  1. Mandala Art – Ms. Pearl Rose(First place); Ms. Prachi Govenkar(Second place).
  2. Creative Planter – Sr. EvonaD’Silva(First place); Ms. Khushi Korgaonkar(Second place).

Offline competitions:

  1. Dress to Impress (Dramatization) – Ms. ShrehalDessai(First place).
  2. Virtuoso (Musical Instruments) – Ms. Jessy Fernandes (First place).
  3. Whittle It Fresh (Fruit Carving) – Ms. Tifa Fernandes (First place); Ms. Jeslia Pereira (Second place).
  4. Nail Art – Ms. Snynia Miranda and Ms. Meziah Miranda (First place); Ms. Vanessa Fernandes and Ms. Kashish Pinto (Second place).
  5. Mehndi Design – Ms. RukshanaBorbande and Ms. Chelsea Fernandes (First place); Ms. Saeema Shaikh and Ms. Charuta Kadam (Second place).
  6. Face Painting – Ms. Nikahat Shaikh and Ms. Valory Fernandes (First place); Ms. Swizel Pereira and Mr. Salman Khan (Second place).
  7. Tangled (Hairstyling) – Ms. Queency Fernandes and Ms. Pradnya Nair (First place); Ms. Kajal Jadhav and Ms. Frannola Araujo (Second place).
  8. Shutterbug (Photography – theme ‘College Architecture’) – Ms. BinitaKalangutkar(First place); Ms. MashikaDeSouza (Second place).
