A one-day workshop for students in “Konkani Orthography and Devanagari Typing” was conducted by the Department of Konkani in collaboration with Konkani Bhasha Mandalon 9th November 2021 from 10.00am to 4.30 pm. The Workshop mainly focused on providing students the knowledge of the set of symbols used in writing the language correctly according to the standard usage. Also in the latter half, students were taught the skill of Devanagari Typing which included hands-on practiceof typing in Devanagari Script. 25 students of B.A and faculty members of the Department, participated in the workshop. Mr. Chetan Acharya & Ms. Sneha Sabnis, Members of Konkani Bhasha Mandal were the Resource Persons. The workshop was coordinated by Ms. Anwesha Singbal (President of Konkani Bhasha Mandal), Assistant Professor Pooja Sangodkar and Assistant Professor Cialini Fernandes.
