The department of Konkani organised its annual ‘Pavsotsav’, an inter-collegiate Konkani poetry recitation competition on 11th October 2021, online. The main aim of this competition was to provide a stage for budding writers to showcase their talents and to encourage them to write. The competition was open to all under-graduate and post-graduate students. 12 participants from different colleges participated in this competition. All participants were provided with participation e-certificates.Sujata Kambli of Goa University, Suveda Palkar of Kala Academy College of Theatre Arts and Gautami Mahadev Gaonkar of Goa University bagged the first, second and third place respectively. Renowned Konkani poets Uday Mhambro and Guadalupe Dias chaired the jury. The program was coordinated by Assistant Professor Pooja Sangodkar and Assistant Professor Cialini Fernandes.
