The Department of History of Carmel College for Women, Nuvem, organized a social visit to St. Anthony’s Home Orphanage, Verna on 15 th February 2020 as a part of their outreach programme . The enthusiastic team of 16 TYBA History students were accompanied by faculty member Mr. Agnelo Dias. They entertained the students with action songs and dances. Games were organized for the children. The SYBA History students generously contributed towards this noble cause in form of stationary items and eatables which was distributed among the inmates of the Orphanage.

| This visit to the Orphanage was a life learning experience filled with emotions and sentiments. Students empathised with the inmates and were inspired to do more for the needy and help them. It was unforgettable visits. |
