SAMHITA ARNI AND PRIYA KURIYAN AT CARMEL COLLEGE

Carmel College for Women, Nuvem, Goa was pleased to host Ms. Samhita Arni and Ms. Priya Kuriyan at the college to interact with the students and staff on 4th December 2019. The speakers were at Carmel as part of a curtain-raiser for the Goa Arts and Literature Festival 2019.  The speakers spoke about their journey as illustrators and their attempts to change the world through art. Ms. Arni spoke of her retelling the Ramayana from Sita’s point of view. Ms. Kuriyan presented her work as a children’s book author and Elephant in the Room. The speakers were introduced by Dr. Brian Mendonca, Faculty, Department of English. Katienne Miranda of TYBA gave the vote of thanks.
