The Department of Psychology, organized a Psychology fair, “Psychomania” on Saturday 24th August 2019. The aim of this fair was to acquaint students with the basic principles of Psychology, using simple and fun experiments.
Students from High school and Higher Secondary schools participated.
Concepts like Short Term Memory, Stroop effect, Dichotic listening task, Optical illusions, Khol’s blocks, Mental rotation, Level of aspiration and many others were utilized to introduce the concepts in the form of experiments. The booths were managed by the first, second and third year Psychology students.
A testing booth was also available, wherein students could register for aptitude testing to be conducted by the Department.
