The department of Konkani celebrated Sao Joao by hosting its annual Sao Joao Copel Competition in the college premises. There was a good response from the students . 11 students from Arts , Commerce and Science took part and made Copels mainly with wild flowers . It was a fun event with students dancing and singing alongwith the teachers to the tune of the Sao Joao song accompanied by the ghumot and guitar. The first three prizes were bagged by the Arts students namely Juana Dias , Lisma Fernandes and Juel D’Souza respectively.
