International Youth Day is observed annually on August 12th to raise awareness towards the need to ensure the engagement and participation of youth. As part of the Puneet Sagar Abhiyan Activities, NCC Cadets of Carmel College of Arts, Science & Commerce for Women, Nuvem, Goa observed the International Youth Day on 12th August, 2023. Ms. Vishakha Harmalkar, CTO and PI staff, Hav Satish accompanied 41 Cadets for the rally. The rally commenced at 8:30 AM from college campus till the Nuvem Village Panchayat. Cadets prepared placards on the theme ‘Role of Youth in Environment Protection’ and chanted slogans, such as ‘Youths power, Nations Hour’ and ‘Aao Karein Prakriti ki Raksha’.
