The Management of Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women, Nuvem, Goa, in collaboration with the Departments of Hindi and Konkani, organised a Farewell Get-Together to honour the retirement of Ms. Queenie Viegas, Associate Professor, Vice Principal and Head of the Department of Konkani and Dr. Lata G. Shirodkar, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Hindi.
The programme featured a prayer, a welcome address, introductions of the retiring faculty members and special videos prepared by the students in their honour.
Tributes were shared by faculty members of the Departments of Hindi and Konkani, students, Sr. Ishapriya A.C., Manager, Sr. Aradhana A.C., Former Principal and Dr. Aldina Braganza, Principal, who appreciated the distinguished service and invaluable contributions of the retiring faculty members. The Management presented mementos as tokens of appreciation.
The programme concluded with heartfelt reflections by Ms. Queenie Viegas, followed by the Vote of Thanks. The farewell was a memorable celebration of dedication, excellence and the enduring legacy of two respected educators.
