The Postgraduate Department of Commerce organised an industrial visit to the Goa Waste Management Corporation, Cacora, providing M.Com students with practical exposure to sustainable waste management practices. Students gained insights into the facility’s operations, public-private partnership model, resource recovery, waste-to-energy processes, recycling, water treatment, and self-sustaining business practices. The visit helped students understand how sustainable operations can contribute to both environmental responsibility and economic value creation.
