Objectives of the Activity:

  1. To inform students about the structure and importance of the GU-ART examination.
  2. To explain the admission procedure for M.A. Psychology programs.
  3. To guide students on preparation strategies for entrance examinations.
  4. To provide clarity regarding specialization choices and career opportunities.

Activity Overview:

An orientation session was conducted by Dr. Anette Joseph and Ms. Anushka Fernandes on 13th February 2026 for the T.Y.B.A Psychology students of Carmel College of Arts Science and Commerce for women, to provide detailed guidance regarding the GU-ART examination and the admission process for M.A. Psychology.The session aimed to clarify eligibility criteria, entrance procedures, specialization options, and career prospects in the field of psychology.

The session included a detailed explanation of:

  • Eligibility criteria for appearing in GU-ART
  • Application process and important dates
  • Examination pattern and marking scheme

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment where students clarified doubts regarding entrance cut-offs, specialization selection, and future prospects. The discussion was engaging and helped students gain confidence about their academic progression.

It provided comprehensive guidance regarding the GU-ART examination and M.A. Psychology admissions, helping students make informed decisions about their higher education and career paths.

Outcomes of the Activity:
