On 1 August 2026, an Alumni Career Connect lecture was delivered at Carmel College by Michelle Brenda Colaco, an alumna of the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science and currently pursuing M.A. in International Studies at Goa University and a recipient of the France Excellence Charpak Scholarship. The session was designed to help undergraduate students look beyond the conventional understanding of Political Science as an academic discipline and recognise it as a foundation for diverse professional pathways in public policy, international relations, diplomacy, intelligence, consulting, governance, research and global affairs.
