Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women is nestled at the foot of the hills in the village of Nuvem, Goa. It has the distinction of being the first and only college for women at undergraduate level in the state of Goa till date.

ADMISSIONS 2026-2027

Admissions to FYBA/B.Sc/B.Com Degree Programmes is conducted online by Directorate of Higher Education, Porvorim-Goa w.e.f 23rd March 2026 from 12.00 noon to 13th April 2026 midnight.

Candidates seeking admission for FYBA/B.Sc/B.Com Degree Programmes are requested to apply through the Samarth e-Gov portal available on

Student should have their own unique and valid e-mail ID and mobile number while filling up the admission form.  

The Portal will provide detailed guidelines about the online application process.

 

Important Notice

  1. Last date to submit the applications will be 13th April, 2026.
  2. Verification of applications will commence from 14th April 2026. The office will scrutinize the applications and, if required, raise requests for re-uploading of documents. Students are advised to regularly check the Samarth Portal and re-upload the original documents, if required to do so.
  3. Merit list of First Year B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com. students will be uploaded on the college website on the 22nd April, 2026
  4. The following documents are required to be submitted at the time of counselling to finalize the admission:
    1. Copy of the Application Form
    2. Original HSSCE Statement of Marks cum Passing Certificate for verification and self-attested photo copy (front and back page).
    3. Original H.S.S.C.E. Leaving Certificate.
    4. Photo copy of ST/SC/OBC Certificate if applicable
    5. Students who have passed out from other Boards have to submit Transference Certificate, Migration Certificate and Provisional Eligibility Certificate from Goa University
