Objective of the Activity:

Activity Overview:
he Postgraduate and Undergraduate Departments of Psychology at Carmel College of Arts, Science & Commerce for Women, in collaboration with Thrive Tribe, organized a week-long celebration to commemorate World Mental Health Week 2025 from 6th to 10th October.
The initiative was aligned with the theme announced by the World Federation for Mental Health (WFMH) – “Access to Services: Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies.” The week aimed to raise awareness about the importance of accessible mental health services, especially during crises and disasters.
Throughout the week, a series of competitions and interactive sessions were organized under the central theme “Roots of Resilience – Nurture, Heal and Thrive.” Students from various disciplines enthusiastically participated, showcasing creativity and awareness through diverse platforms.

The club also prepared information on myths and facts related to mental health to create awareness about the stigma, which was displayed on the LCD screens on the campus.
Outcome of the Activity:
The celebration successfully fostered awareness and empathy among students about the significance of mental health support during crises. Participants enhanced their understanding of psychological resilience, coping strategies, and the need for accessible services in emergencies.
The week served as a platform to integrate learning with creativity, helping students internalize the importance of compassion, service, and community wellbeing.
