On 22nd September 2025, the Training, Internship and Placement Cell of Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women, Nuvem, in association with the Reserve Bank of India, Panaji, hosted an informative session on “Career Prospects at RBI”. The resource person for the session was Ms. Deepika Negi, Assistant Manager, RBI Panaji.
Ms. Negi provided a brief overview of the Reserve Bank of India and explained its role. She went on to highlight the various career opportunities at RBI, including working across diverse departments and locations, collaborating with some of the best minds, impacting the lives of millions, engaging in research, and leading reforms.
She explained the benefits of working in RBI, supportive Human Resource climate, attractive compensation and expertise. The incentives provided to the employees are good accommodation, allowances, leave and medical benefits.
The Women Centric Policies of RBI such as home drop, flexi work hours, maturity benefits and special hardship leave was stressed upon by Ms.Negi. She also explained the selection process in detail .
The session was highly informative and provided a thorough knowledge about work culture at RBI. The talk was attended by 118 students.
