Purpose:
To offer students a practical learning opportunity in food service management through a hands-on canteen-style event, while also raising funds for student-led activities for the academic year 2025–2026.

Event Overview:
On 24th July 2025, the Department of Psychology organized Snackology Express at the Administrative Block. The space was transformed into a lively and colourful food court, where final-year Psychology students ran a variety of food stalls. Through this, they got a chance to apply practical skills related to planning, cooking, serving, customer interaction, and financial handling—all essential for basic entrepreneurial learning.
Menu Highlights:
Students curated a diverse and exciting menu across creatively named stalls:
- Tinto: Snack Plate, Salted Fries, Peri Peri Fries, Cheese Fries
- Chaat da Dabba: Shev Puri, Pani Puri
- Ross Gaddo: Tambde Kombi, Cafreal Kombi, Chole Masala
- Casa de Pao: Beef Roast Bread, Sausage Bread
- Meetha Mart: Brownie, Serradura
All items were reasonably priced between Rs. 40 and Rs. 80, making them affordable and encouraging participation from students and staff alike.
Sustainability Efforts:
To support environmentally conscious practices, students took the following steps:
- Eco-Friendly Cutlery: Paper plates and cups were used instead of plastic items.
- Hygiene Standards: All students followed basic food safety protocols by wearing gloves and hair nets while handling and serving food.
Financial Summary:
- Total Income: Rs. 23,020
- Total Expenses: Rs. 11,808
- Total Profit: Rs. 11,212
The event saw enthusiastic involvement from 35 students, making it both a rewarding learning opportunity and a financial success.

Snackology Express was a successful blend of learning, creativity, and collaboration.
