Awards and Honours:

1. Awarded the Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) Fellowship by Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, in June 2011 for doctoral study.
2. Awarded the Late Shri Dilip Kumar Rayu Prabhu Mhambre Gold Medal for obtaining highest marks in Botany at the M.Sc. examination held in April, 2010.
