Objectives of the Activity:

Activity Overview:
The Postgraduate Department of Psychology organized an experiential learning activity titled “Becoming the Personality Theorist: Becoming the Personality Theorist: An Experiential Learning Activity” on 2nd February 2026. The activity was conducted with the aim of enhancing students’ understanding of major personality theories through active participation and role-based learning. A total of 30 students and 2 faculty members were involved in the session.
The activity required students to assume the roles of prominent personality theorists and present their theories as if they were the theorists themselves. Each participant explored the core concepts, contributions, and unique perspectives of their assigned theorist and presented them creatively. This role-play approach encouraged deeper engagement, critical thinking, and better conceptual clarity. The session was interactive, with discussions and reflections following each presentation, making the learning process dynamic and immersive.

- Students demonstrated improved conceptual clarity of personality theories
- Enhanced confidence in public speaking and presentation skills
- Better retention of theoretical concepts through active involvement
