One of its special features is the Medicinal Garden Section, which is designed to promote awareness about plants used in Ayurveda and Unani systems of medicine. During the visit, the students observed several plant species including medicinal plants such as turmeric, pepper, ginger, lemon grass, etc., which are commonly grown in a kitchen garden and also learnt about their uses and cultivation practices.
The field study trip to the garden at Satpal Arboretum was an enriching educational experience that enhanced the students’ understanding of the subject beyond classroom learning.
