 Activity Overview:

The Chemistry Department’s canteen, held on 25th September 2025 at 10 pm, was a vibrant and memorable showcase of student talent and entrepreneurial spirit. This exciting initiative was expertly coordinated by Ms. Priyanka Naik, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, with invaluable support and encouragement from Ms. Fatima Gracias, Head of Department and all the dedicated staff members of the Chemistry Department. Together, they fostered a collaborative environment that enabled enthusiastic third-year chemistry students to transform the admin-block into a lively and bustling marketplace.

Each food stall was brimming with an array of delicious homemade snacks, drinks and a variety of creative items—from eye-catching fancy keychains to beautifully crafted showpieces—all thoughtfully prepared and designed by the students themselves. The atmosphere buzzed with energy and excitement, as faculty and fellow students gathered during recess to taste the unique flavours and shop for innovative and handmade items. The inclusion of entertaining games added an extra layer of fun, turning the event into an engaging and joyful experience for everyone involved.

Outcomes of the Activity:

Students gained practical experience in teamwork, organization and entrepreneurship while successfully managing the canteen operations for a day. This enhanced their skills in management, communication and customer service.
