Objective(s) of the Activity:
- To celebrate the spirit of giving through active student participation.
- To support underprivileged communities by contributing funds and essential stationery items.
- To align with the institution’s vision of fostering extension activities for community development.
Activity Overview:
As part of the Daan Utsav initiative, the Thrive Trive Club organized a donation drive aimed at supporting the ETC Educational Training Centre run by the Don Bosco Konkan Development Society. The organization is committed to improving the lives of underprivileged communities in Goa by providing access to quality education and skill development opportunities.
Students and staff came together to contribute funds and stationery items, which were collected over a span of a week from 2nd October to 8th October 2025. The donations will support ETC in its ongoing mission to enhance literacy and learning opportunities for children and youth from marginalized communities. The initiative also helped students understand the power of collective action in bringing about positive change.
A total of 45000 was collected in cash.
Outcomes of the Activity:
- Created awareness among students and staff about the importance of giving and supporting underprivileged communities.
- Fostered a sense of social responsibility, empathy, and community engagement among participants.
- Mobilized meaningful contributions in the form of funds and stationery to support literacy and learning initiatives.
