The Department of Library and the Hindi Department of Carmel College jointly organized a workshop on “Making a Newsletter” on 25th August 2025 to help students learn how to design and publish newsletters.
During the workshop, students received guidance from Librarian Ms. Yuga Aadarkar on designing newsletters using Canva, while Hindi faculty member Ms. Lata Shirodkar assisted students with Microsoft Publisher. News editing was also done by Ms. Lata Shirodkar.
Twenty students participated in the workshop and gained valuable skills in newsletter design and publishing. The workshop was beneficial for students, enhancing the students’ creative and technical abilities.
Mona Singh, a TYBA Hindi student, won first prize in the newsletter competition. The winning newsletter has been uploaded on the Carmel College website.
