On the occasion of Post Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, the Department of Library organized an E-Poster Making Competition. The program was hosted by Ms. Yuga Adarkar, Librarian, who warmly welcomed the participants and audience.
The event began with a prayer recital by Ms. Joselyn Thayil, setting a serene atmosphere. The Principal, Dr. Aldina Braganza e Gomes, addressed the gathering and highlighted the principle of equality, emphasizing that today’s generation of girls are privileged to have the right to education because of this value.
A total of six participants enthusiastically took part in the competition. The judges were Ms. Andrea D’Costa and Ms Deepali Sutar from Department of Zoology and Hindi Department respectfully.The winners were announced as follows:
- First Prize:Mackvita Afonso
- Second Prize:Kanchan Pasvan
- Third Prize:Saraiah Miriam Costa
- Consolation Prize:Priyaka Arya
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Anisha Sharma, appreciating the efforts of all participants and organizers”
