The graduation ceremony for the batch of 2024–2025 of Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women, Nuvem, Goa, was held on 20th September 2025. The event celebrated the academic achievements of students across the Science, Arts, and Commerce streams.
The ceremony was graced by several distinguished dignitaries. Prof. Dr. Radhika Nayak, an accomplished academician with numerous accolades, was the Chief Guest and inspired the graduating students with her address, emphasizing the importance of perseverance, lifelong learning, and contributing positively to society. The officiating principal, Dr. Aldina Braganza, also addressed the gathering, extending her best wishes to the graduates and highlighting the college’s commitment to nurturing holistic development. Other dignitaries present included Sister Jonily A.C., Provincial Superior of the Western Province of the Apostolic Carmel in India, representing the management, and Ms. Sajani D’Costa, Student Council Coordinator.
Around 170 students participated in the graduation ceremony. Special recognition was given to the three rankers across the three streams: Suhani Dodmani for Arts, Alya Tara Augustine for Science, and Rosanne Penelope Menezes for Commerce. They were felicitated for their outstanding academic performance. The presence of proud parents added to the joyous and celebratory atmosphere of the occasion.
The event was meticulously organized by the Student Council Committee, ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for all attendees. The ceremony included felicitation, speeches, and the formal conferring of certificates to the graduates, marking the successful completion of their academic journey.
The graduation ceremony at Carmel College served not only as a recognition of academic excellence but also as a celebration of the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of the students, their families, and the faculty.
