EcoVista club member students of Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women, Nuvem-Goa proudly participated in the National Level Fest – ILLUMINARE 2025, held at St. Agnes College Mangalore on 3rd September 2025, which brought together students from 14 colleges across the country. The event aimed to foster creativity, innovation, and intellectual growth.

Our college was represented by 13 students, accompanied by faculty member Ms. Pooja Yadav. The students  participated enthusiastically in a diverse range of events, which tested skills in arts, culture, intellect, and innovation. Their participation was a testament to the multifaceted talents nurtured in our institution.

Among the notable achievements, Ms. Maria Alice D’Souza and Ms. Shenalda Miranda secured the First Place in the Starlight Pitch (Shark Tank) competition with their innovative idea of health snacks prepared from leafy vegetables. Their creations—chakli, chakli sticks, and khakra made using red amaranth, moringa leaves, mint, and methi leaves—were widely appreciated for being both nutritious and creative. Ms. Muskan Bepari displayed remarkable confidence and spontaneity, winning the Second Place in the Mock Press (Under the Spotlight) competition.

In the overall results,  Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women, Nuvem-Goa proudly emerged as the Runners-Up(Second Place) at the College Level. The participation and accomplishments of our students at ILLUMINARE 2025 stand as a testament to their dedication, talent, and competitive spirit. Their success has not only brought laurels to the institution but also set a benchmark for future participations in national-level events.
