On 25th August 2025 Konkani department alumna, Ms. Ankita Naik Deulkar, Sub -editor of RDX,Goa Infotainment Channel, Porvorim, was invited to deliver a talk on Careers in Media. In her interaction Ms. Ankita emphasized that the industry requires a blend of passion and specialized skills offering opportunities in traditional media like Television and print as well as the rapidly growing digital and social media spaces.
She also spoke of her journey from a student to being the Sub editor of RDX ,Goa Infotainment Channel. The programme was attended by 27 students and department faculty. The guest was introduced by student Samuela Gomendes and the programme was compered by Assistant Professor Ms. Nidhi Naik.
