30th July 2025, World Day Against Trafficking in Person was organised by Arz NGO in collaboration with Women’s Commission, Goa State Legal Services and Goa Police at Multipurpose hall, Sanskruti Bhavan, Central Library, Patto, Panjim. to educate youth to combat trafficking. 10 students of Post Graduate Department of Psychology, Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for women accompanied by Dr. Anette Joseph, participated in street play competition. Seven colleges participated for the event. A Street play on the theme “Strengthening Communities, Preventing Trafficking” was presented by the students. The students were given participation certificates and a memento was awarded to the college, for our contribution to the event.
