The Training, Internship and Placement Cell of Carmel College of Arts, Science & Commerce for Women, Nuvem, Goa, in collaboration with Maxxcell Institute and Overseas Education, organized a Career Assessment Programme on 31st July 2025 at the College Auditorium.
Dr. Rivya Dias, Assistant Professor, extended a warm welcome and introduced the resource person. The session was conducted by Ms. Shivona Fernandes, who is currently working as a Business Development Executive with Maxxcell Overseas Education. The programme was aimed at third-year students and included two major career tools: the RIASEC Test and the MBTI Personality Assessment Test. These tools helped students explore suitable career paths based on their interests and personality types. Students received a personalized career direction roadmap, helping them to plan their future with clarity and confidence.
A total of 146 third year students from various streams including Commerce, Science, and Arts actively participated in the programme. In addition to enthusiastic student participation, faculty members from the TIP Cell also attended the session, showing strong support and engagement in guiding students toward informed career choices.
Overall, the session was insightful and well-received by the students, offering them practical tools to make informed career choices.
