The NCC cadets of Carmel College, Nuvem successfully conducted a community outreach activity titled Yoga Samavesh at the Old Age Home in Chandor on 20th June 2025. The session was attended by 5 NCC cadets along with 1 alumna of the college. The highlight of the event was a one-hour yoga session specially designed for elderly participants. The session was led by AFC A-License Football Coach Mr. Agostine Antao, who demonstrated simple and effective yoga exercises suitable for senior citizens. Under his guidance, the cadets assisted the elderly residents in performing the postures correctly, ensuring comfort and safety. The yoga session was followed by an interactive segment where cadets engaged with the residents, fostering a sense of companionship and emotional well-being. The activity was a meaningful step towards promoting physical health and mental peace among the elderly through the practice of yoga.
