Participation in Activities.

Science Academies Education Programme A joint collobration of three prestigious sciences academies in India. Indian Academy of Sciences Bangalore, Indian National Science Academy New Delhi, and The National Academy of Sciences, India Allahabad, r egularly organize 16 days Refresher courses in Experimental Physics across the country for college and university teachers in collaboration with the respective institutions / universities.These courses are meant for improving the laboratory programmes at the B.Sc and M.Sc physics levels and to help motivate teachers improve their background knowledge and teaching skills. This program is the flagship activity of Joint Science Educational Panel.

I am associated with the program of the Academy since inception year 2001.I am one of the three member team from Goa University, who have developed and built the low cost user friendly experimental kits for experiments/ laboratory programmes, as well as a resource person for the 16 days Refresher courses in Experimental Physics. Many Universities have adopted experiments in their curriculum developed in this program both at MSc and B.Sc level.

Till date participated in more than 30 Refresher Courses across the country as a resource person.
