Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Nuvem, Goa hosted #AIRNxt on campus on 12 April 2022. Officiating Principal, Dr. Sr. Maria Lizanne AC welcomed the gathering. She expressed her appreciation for the team from AIR, Panaji which had come to the college to record the speeches of 12 students. The AIR initiative was to commemorate 75 years of India’s independence. Topics ranged from ‘My Dream India,’ ‘The New “She,”‘ and ‘Youth Icons’ to ‘Youth in Scientific Research.’ Dr. Brian Mendonca, Event Coordinator, thanked the AIR team, led by Programme Executive Celina Andrews, and the students for their participation. Tabitha Fernandes was judged the best speaker for her speech on the topic, ‘My dream of a self-reliant India.’
