Observing the litter generated after the local fairs, a massive cleaning activity of the local Nuvem fair area, was undertaken by the NSS volunteers on the 18th of November from 3.00pm-7.00pm. A large area in and around the Nuvem Panchayat and the service road of National Highway 17, which was the venue for the Nuvem fair was cleaned. Students collected plastic bottles, plastic packets and other litter. 165 students participated in the activity and they were accompanied by Mr. Virroy Dias and Mr. Prajyot Gauncar.
