A guest lecture on cinema titled ‘Understanding Cinema through the queer lens’ was conducted by the department of Konkani, on 14th December 2021. Renowned actress & singer Ms. Ester Noronha was the guest speaker. The lecture focussed on imparting knowledge about cinema with respect to Konkani cinema. The lecture was followed by a question and answer session, wherein students asked her various questions with respect to Konkani Cinema and her experience as artist. The guest lecture was cordinated by Ms. Queenie Viegas, Associate Professor & Head of the Department and Assistant Professor Cialini Fernandes.
