On the occasion of Child Rights week, the NSS volunteers participated in the Child Walkathon organised by Childline Railways. The walkathon had been organised to raise awareness about the Childline(1098) on 20th November at 7:00am. The walk commenced from the Holy Spirit Church ground and volunteers proceeded towards Ravindra Bhavan Margao.
47 volunteers from the NSS unit of Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women participated in this programme and contributed in raising awareness about Childline in Goa. All the participants were given participation certificates, which were sent to their respective colleges.
