Principal Dr. Aldina Braganza welcomed the gathering, while the Chief Guest for the function Rev. Dr. Jyoti Kispotta – Principal of Nirmala College for Women, Jharkhand set the tone for the event. HOD -History Ms. Leila Ribeiro introduced the Resource Person Mr. Fredrick Noronha.
The objective of this webinar was to share a journey of trying to understand Goa, collect information on the region, publish some books, build a family tree and such activities which would serve as a legacy for our future generations. Through the talk, participants would be exposed to some easy to use audio and video recording tools and hence these stories could then be captured and shared in the course of time.
The event saw the participation of not only colleges in Goa, but also from the states of Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. The total number of viewers on YouTube was 340and 30 on Google Meet, 370 participants in all. E-certificates were mailed at the end of the event.
