The Department of History commemorated Goa Revolution Day on 18th  June 2020, in honour of our revered martyrs, who laid down their lives for the liberation of Goa from Portuguese rule. The day was also dedicated to the memory of our army personnel who lost their lives in the clash with Chinese troops.

It was a solemn occasion, with Vice Principal Dr Sr. Lizanne AC leading the gathering in prayer. This was followed by a floral tribute to our martyrs. Principal Dr. Sr. Aradhana AC delivered her special message, bringing out the significance of the occasion.

The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Head of Department Ms. Leila Ribeiro, who also recited Mr. Manohar Sardesai’s  poem Outra Jun. The function was attended to, by both teaching and non-teaching staff of the college.
