Dr Manoj Borkar of the Zoology department was recently invited as a Plenary Speaker at the National Conference on ”Wetland Conservation: Approaches & Threats” organised by the Department of Zoology  of Chowgule College Margao in association with Mangrove Society of India and Goa State Wetland Authority.  He was felicitated by Dr Nandini Vaz Fernandes Dean Sciences and Head Zoology department at Chowgule college.

Dr Borkar also  judged the Research posters and participated in a Panel Discussion on Status of Wetlands in Goa. The conference was attended by faculty and students from various states of India.
