Dr Manoj Borkar Associate Professor of Zoology was an Invited Speaker at the National Workshop on Mangrove Conservation in Gandhinagar Gujarat on 27th & 28th July, 2018. Dr Borkar delivered his invited speech on ‘Prospects and problems of mangrove related Eco-tourism in Goa: A case study of Crocodile safari of Cumbarjua canal in Goa‘. The workshop was organised by the Gujarat Ecology Commission (GEC) and Gujarat Ecological Education and Research Foundation (GEER)both affiliates of Gujarat State Government; along with IUCN and Ministry of Environment,  Forests & Climate Change, Govt. of India, New Delhi. The workshop was attended by the top brass of the Gujarat state Forest department, besides Advisor to the MoEF&CC, GoI , New Delhi, IUCN representatives and several NGOs across the country. Academicians and students from Gujarat were also in attendance.
